Accra Ghana, a Holiday Destination.

Ghana became independent in the year 1957. The town of Accra is the commercial center and the capital of Ghana. One of the wealthiest and most up to date towns on the continent of Africa is Accra ; found in the country of Ghana. With world connections to Europe and North America, flights to Accra are a simple part of your holiday package. Leasing a vehicle or SUV is straightforward to do, as many of the bigger Accra hostels offer this service. Drivers are sometimes really good guides and can explain the different attractions in detail.

Plenty of taxis are no longer metered, you may arrange a fee with the driver before you leave but some taxis are metered, and they generally tend to be a bit dearer. These can be a particularly productive way to go thru Accra and a method to hit all the most desired holiday maker spots. These are lorries which serve as the town's public transit system.

A wide selection of fine art, textiles and pottery can be enjoyed here.

Accra's main retail area where you'll be able to find produce, tools, shoes and garments among other stuff.

This is a gorgeous commemorative park dedicated to the first president of Ghana. Dense tropical rainforests that are intersected by heavily forested hills, streams and brooks are present across the country.
