Accra Ghana, a Holiday Destination.

Found on the western coast of Africa, Republic of Ghana is one the most promising countries in the continent principally renowned for its gold and salt mines. Ghana became independent in the year 1957.

The country is bordered on the west by Ivory Coast, on the north by Burkina Faso and Togo on the east. Ghana is spread over an area of 92,100 square kilometers and has a projected population of twenty-three million. However, there are way more than one hundred languages and dialects spoken in Ghana.

Agriculture and trade are the 2 most critical occupations of the people in Ghana. The town is home to Kotoka Global airfield, which is able to accommodate even the biggest of aircrafts.

Besides leasing an automobile or using one of the taxis, a 3rd option for travel around Accra is a tro tro. They've been described as untrustworthy and not the safest way to go in Accra.

On your sightseeing tour, these are some of the not to miss attractions. Aside from these, Ghana contains one of the finest oil reserves on the planet. The Greenwich Meridian passes thru the country.
