Cultural Heritage of Ghana - CAN 2008.

One of the wealthiest and most latest towns on the continent of Africa is Accra ; found in the country of Ghana. The city is home to Kotoka World Airport, which is able to accommodate even the biggest of aircrafts. With world connections to Europe and Northern America, flights to Accra are a simple part of your holiday package. With its attractive beaches and many sights, Accra, Ghana is a fabulous escape. Many taxis are not metered, you may arrange a fee with the driver before you leave but some taxis are metered, and they have a tendency to be dearer.

These have a set rate per passenger and will follow a fixed route.

Besides leasing a car or utilizing one of the taxis, a 3rd option for travel around Accra is a tro tro. These are wagons which serve as the town's public transit system.

On your sightseeing tour, these are some of the not to miss attractions.

A big range of fine art, textiles and pottery can be enjoyed here.

First of all, Ghana and in fact Africa must be proud that there are voters of the continent whose creativity is beyond imagination. Yankee travelers who are homesick might like Frankie's for their selections of Western favourites.
