On Sunday, 20 th Jan , 2008, the MTN 26th Africa Cup of States , dubbed Ghana 2008 started in the leading city of Accra. The contest would be running in four towns, specifically Accra, Kumasi, Sekondi and Tamale till 10th Feb , 2008. So, the hundred horn blowers at the opening rite were symbolically asserting to the Africa and the rest of the planet the 26th copy of the celebrated African Cup of Countries was going to start in Ghana, so that the whole world must be cautious and prepared to embrace the event.
